The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is the newest addition to brand’s crossover and SUV lineup – and it’s making a big impact on the industry. To highlight the XT6 appeal, Cadillac brought in the big guns for the vehicle’s advertising campaign: the highly acclaimed film directors Anthony and Joe Russo of Marvel Studios fame.
The new Cadillac XT6 ad campaign takes a look at how this new SUV goes beyond what’s expected of vehicles in its class. Titled “Crew Ready,” the campaign unveils the sleek, versatile vehicle, giving the brand an edgier and more modern feel.
“The XT6 ‘Crew Ready’ campaign signifies a new way of thinking about Cadillac SUVs,” said Deborah Wahl, Cadillac chief marketing officer. “XT6 customers are always ready for an adventure, and we knew closely partnering with the directors of the highest ever grossing film, the Russo brothers, and Bullitt was the perfect way to bring this vision to life.”
In the “Crew Ready” spot, you see crews of all types, from rocker dads and stuntwomen to stylish fashionistas and battle-ready martial artists, walking toward the three-row SUV as Diplo’s “Welcome to the Party” plays in the background. And, as you might expect from the Russo brothers, who are known for their direction on Marvel Studios films like Avengers: Endgame, the spot includes some well-timed explosions.
