Tom Kelley Cadillac loves our Fort Wayne neighborhood and all the city is doing to beautify it. Just last month, the city celebrated the opening of its newest public park space: Promenade Park. The development revitalizes the waterfront area with a $20 million space for fun and relaxation where the St. Mary’s, Maumee, and St. Joseph Rivers intertwine.

The community has already embraced the new gathering space that features easy access to water recreation, including kayak rentals or a ride on the Sweet Breeze, an 1840’s canal boat that carries up to 40 people on a history tour through Fort Wayne.

A large public-performance plaza is sure to be home to many future concerts, as seen from the annual Rock the Plaza summertime concert series over at the library. Kids have plenty of play space on the new playground equipment, and families can take a stroll on the pleasant tree canopy trail.

Promenade Park is now one of the many attractions in Fort Wayne, which including the historic Allen County Courthouse, Botanical Conservatory, and one of the best children’s zoos in the country.
